Shark Bay World Heritage Area
Denham is situated approximately 1.5 hours off the main highway when you reach the Overlander Roadhouse. As you drive over the hill into Shark Bay and catch the first glimpse of ocean, you’ll instantly see why this place is so unique and untouched.
Shark Bay is listed as a world heritage area, and for good reason. Just out of Denham is the Francois Peron National Park with it’s incredible coastline and hot springs, Monkey Mia - home of the famous Dolphin Experience - is just a 20 minute drive from Denham, and the beaches and bay itself are a wonderment to fisherman and kite surfers.
Monkey Mia airport is just 6km from Shark Bay Holiday Cottages if you prefer to fly.
Our cottages are situated on Knight Terrace, Denham’s main street, right across the road from the swimming beach, jetty and boat ramp. It’s also a short walk to the quaint town centre’s pubs, shops and restaurants.
